NEAREST CITY = Los Osos
Exit at 'Los Osos Valley Road' off the 101 just south of San Luis Obispo, California. Follow Los Osos Valley road west all the
way through town and near the ocean. Look for the 'Montana de Oro State Park' sign, where you will make a left turn. Follow
the road for about 2 miles. You will see the dunes on your right hand side. Watch for a road on your right with the 'Sand Spit'
sign, turn right and follow it into the parking lot. There is a dirt road/path that leads out to the dunes. Take the first trail you
come to that heads left, toward the ocean, to get to 'The Sandboard Park'. The Park is about 40 yards to the north of the trail once you
actually get into the dunes.
